Jenn Pina (co-Artistic Director and Ensemble member) has been an actor, dancer, director, teacher or student in theaters (and parks, street corners, studios…) from California to New York, Massachusetts to Louisiana for 40 years. Always hungry to grow and push the bounds of performance, Jenn has been fortunate to have such playgrounds as the CCTC, the Experimental Theatre Wing in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Tinbox Theatre, Happensdance Improvisational Wing, Sledgehammer Theatre, and Pilgrim Theatre. Besides momming, creating ensemble is Jenn’s favorite type of work. She is particularly drawn to working with very old scripts (Shakespeare, anyone?) and creating new work, and has premiered scripts by Eric Ehn, David Rosenthal, Kevin Rice, Laura Harrington and others. Jenn played the lead role in Everybody Does It, a feature-length film, dir. Marcella Hoekstra, which premiered in the Woods Hole Film Festival (1999). Jenn graduated from Boston College with a BA in Economics. Since 2003, she has worked as an executive coach, using theatre-based techniques to help leaders around the globe hone their ability to connect with their audiences. Her client list is extensive, and includes such institutions as Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, Kellogg School of Management, Wellington Management, Bain Capital, TED, The Ariel Group, and UP Education Network.
